J&B Supply, Inc. was founded in February of 1968 in Fort Smith, Arkansas by J. L. Jones and Jim Barns, both originally from the Muskogee, Oklahoma area. The original location of J&B Supply was a single building on Midland Blvd. in Fort Smith. From that small beginning, J&B Supply grew steadily, and in a few short years became a full-line plumbing, and heating and air conditioning distributor, serving the entire western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma area. In 1978, Mr. Jones started a wholesale electrical store, J&B Electric, in Fort Smith.
