If you haven't already done so, it's time to start your indoor seed planting! If you want you can place a heating mat (available in most garden centers) under your seed trays. Keeping the soil warm will assist with faster germination and plants will develop a stronger root system.
Here in - what should be - the cold days of January is a great time to consider your planting plans for Spring. Check any garden logs from last year, and dig into new seed catalogs. Now is the best time to decide on your favorite crops to grow!
