Questions
Is now a good time to install solar panels?
Yes, Virginia's favorable net metering policy and SREC market make solar a smart investment even after the federal tax credit reduction.
How does solar power work with my existing electrical system?
Solar panels connect to your electrical panel, powering your home directly while sending excess energy back to the grid for credits.
What maintenance do solar panels require?
Minimal maintenance needed - rain typically cleans panels naturally. Systems are designed for 25+ years of reliable operation with no routine servicing.
What are the costs for residential solar systems?
Residential systems start at $15,000 with final pricing depending on system size, installation complexity, and specific energy requirements.
Do I need HOA approval for solar installation?
HOA approval may be required. We'll help design systems that meet their guidelines and provide necessary documentation for approval.
How does solar affect my electric bill?
Solar significantly reduces utility costs by generating your own power. Excess production creates grid credits that offset nighttime or cloudy day usage.
