Greg went to Michigan State University for horticulture and landscape architecture, and later earned a certification in natural shoreline restoration. He's also an accredited GRP, or green roof professional - a member of the inaugural class, as it happens. Over the years, and through a variety of different ecologically oriented jobs, Greg developed his passion for melding the hard bones of urban infrastructure with the organic texture of native plants and animals, rich soils and clean water. Thus was born a diehard nature nut who loves heading out into the verge, but would much rather bring it in to our fair cities.
