We have worked with the US Navy and Coast Guard as well as the private marine sector for decades to build the experience and expertise that makes us the reliable one-stop-shop for ship repair that we are today.
Our welders are world class. We have experts in a variety of weld methods and metals. Our facilities include a clean titanium room, powder coating station, and pipe fitting shop. With our new pipe bender, we can bend 8 steel. With our experience and capabilities, we are able to handle any job on the market. Commercial manufacturing has been an integral part of all of our capabilities. Manufacturing at Auxiliary Systems started as an in-house capability used to build our own feed-water systems and mobile offices.
ASI has teaming agreements with various businesses. We are the OEM Representative for Tranter Heat Exchangers. Our Northeast Service Center is capable of servicing all brands of plate and frame heat exchanger units on the east coast. This includes Alfa Laval and many other plate and frame heat exchangers. Aqua-Chem has appointed ASI as an authorized representative to act on their behalf in sales and service of parts for their products. We employ an Aqua Chem technical representative, and a FMC pump technical representative.
Initially ASI started manufacturing sound attenuation closures for generators. Eventually, this shop grew to include general commercial work. Some of our food truck manufacturing is also fabricated in this facility. We have a variety of certifications with expert staff and equipment capable to support commercial diversification. We have welders, electricians, and machinists under one roof to provide quality assurance. Additionally, this facility houses a water jet cutter and powder-coater.
Auxiliary System's trained technicians can travel anywhere in the world to resolve electrical issues with circuit breakers, controllers, control panels, electric brakes, generators, motors, motor generators, switchboards, and transformers. Our facilities and employees are capable of fabricating new electrical panels or customize existing electrical panels to desired plans. We excel at the repair of any rotating machinery. Our staff is comprised of electricians and mechanics, mostly retired navy personnel with over twenty years of experience and are proficient with the repair of marine and commercial distribution system components.
