McCarter Electrical Company is a well-established, multi-trade company specializing in electrical, process piping, millwright, rigging, voice/data, and security systems work in NC and SC. McCarter operates out of four locations - Laurinburg, Monroe, Raleigh, and Fayetteville, NC. About 70% of our work falls into the industrial category, with a mix of military and commercial projects throughout our business markets. 65% of this business occurs with repeat customers. We maintain unlimited electrical licenses in North Carolina and South Carolina and hold an unlimited Process Piping license in South Carolina.
McCarter's Special Systems Division brings a unique level of value-added service to the customer for true turn-key electrical services. McCarter can not only perform all electrical power and lighting requirements for a project, but is also licensed and certified to install security camera systems, access control systems, fiber networking systems and fiber splicing, data room build-outs, standard CAT 5E/6 network cabling systems, high-security military data systems, and complete phone and VOIP systems.
For industrial customers, we provide a "one-stop shop" to provide turn-key services for all the electrical and process mechanical resources necessary to build a new plant, renovate an existing plant, or provide on-going maintenance services and small projects. We have the in-house capabilities to install all electrical work necessary from high/medium-voltage equipment and terminations down to low voltage PLC control wiring, data systems, security systems, and all power and lighting systems in between.
For commercial customers, we provide all electrical services necessary from residential service calls to design-build projects for an entire building/facility. We perform work in all commercial markets, such as retail up-fits, building shells, office spaces, restaurants, hospitals, military bases, churches, schools, medical office buildings, laboratories, auditoriums, multi-unit dwelling spaces, dormitories, and warehouses. Additionally, McCarter brings the advantage of offering its commercial customers the ability to self-perform the installation of cabling and hardware for access control and security systems, telephone and data systems, fiber optic high-bandwidth data systems, and specialized high-security governmental data systems.
