The business was run from his kitchen table for many years with his wife, Suggie, keeping the books and scheduling the jobs, and providing the all-around backbone of the company. The company was a full-service electrical contractor serving both residential and commercial customers. Operations for the company were turned over to Daniel H. Ruckriegel, Jr. in 2001 as Daniel, Sr. pursued a political career as Mayor of Jeffersontown, Ky, which lasted for 20 years.
