ESCO Group is an Automation, Electrical, and Instrumentation (A.E.I.) professional services company with three business units: ESCO Electric, ESCO Automation, and ESCO Power. Within these business units, we provide a large variety of services in Electrical Construction, Plant Services, Automation and Control Systems, Enterprise Solutions, Electrical Engineering and Design, Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, IR Testing, and Electrical Safety Training and Consultation. We are a full-service firm with a high degree of expertise in an array of markets, including food and beverage, seed/agriculture, oilseed, municipals, and OEM.

We will always celebrate our past legacy that has made us the responsive and reliable company we are from yesterday to today. Founded in 1964 by Wayne and Shirley Engle, ESCO was a small electrical contractor that was run out of the Engle home. By the early to mid-1970s, ESCO had grown into one of the most successful electrical companies in the Midwest, working on both residential and commercial projects, such as the Hiawatha Post Office, the Stouffer's Hotel in downtown Cedar Rapids, the Ground Transportation Center, and the APAC building.

We realize fitting a drive to the gym into an already packed schedule can be nearly impossible. With the construction of our Marion headquarters in 2011, we added an on-site fitness center! With full shower rooms available, you can easily fit in a run or weights over lunch. Being prepared for the unexpected is an unfortunate, but necessary thing to do. Our non-union, full-time employees have life insurance coverage paid for by ESCO. This covers $50,000 of life and accidental death and dismemberment.
