Local 220 is an affiliate of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). Although our name says "electrical workers", our members come from a very diverse range of job classifications. Today Local 220 represents employees working for multiple private sector employers as well as outside lineman across a large area of Texas. Our members are a broad mix of disciplines and skilled craft. We represent some of the best workers in the Lone Star State! Next Tuesday will be our monthly meeting. I understand that with the outage in progress everyone is busy. For Day shift people, like me, we can swing by right after we get off shift and get the latest and greatest information. For Night shift people, swing by just a little early and sit in on the formal meeting. Remember, the meeting is at 5 pm in the NOSF auditorium. If you have any questions, let us know.

It has been 7 1/ 2 years since I was first elected the Local 220 Business Manager. That will officially end on December 31st as I start my new career as a 7th District IBEW International Representative. I will still be very involved in the Local, just from a different position.
