A little history might help. We started the business in April of 2009. The original name for the company was Beacon Electrical Service. We operated under that name for nearly a year. To our surprise we received a letter one day from another company named Beacon Electrical Service. Seems we had been using the name that they had reserved for use in the State of Texas. They were actually really kind to us and allowed us time to find another name. In March of 2010, we chose the name ProLectric, LLC.

Our electricians go through hours of extended training to keep themselves at the top of their profession. Most electricians do the minimum training which is four hours of continuing education per year to meet state license renewal requirements. When you add it all up we figure our electricians go thru about 20 hours of training per month. That's a lot of training.
