Design Works carries the same quality and care in our residential lawn mowing and trimming program as we do in our award-winning hardscape and landscape projects. Our managers have over 20 years of installation experience and our talented staff holds certifications with the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA), Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI).

Excavation is the most crucial step to a successful hardscape project. Our excavation specialists work with our designers to carefully excavate to proper depths, evaluate existing soil conditions, plan for proper pitch and drainage, accurately grade the site, and to prepare a suitable base for hardscape elements. We do all of our own site work and our Excavation Team is solely focused on excavating day in and day out, which gives us a consistency and accuracy in our hardscape projects. Our Excavation Team is well trained, safe, and hold necessary Hoisting Licenses to operate in Massachusetts.

Design Works is a full service fencing company. This service works very nicely for our outdoor living clients. Our hardscape and landscape crews not only work on your pool patio and plantings, but our fencing team can complete the job with a pool safety fence, privacy fence, decorative fence, etc. Ornamental Iron and Aluminum, Vinyl, and Chainlink are among the most common fences that we install.

If you've completed a landscape project with us, we would love to continue working with you to make sure the project is upheld. Following installation, our property maintenance team is ready to swoop right in and keep things looking fantastic all year long. For existing customers and new customers alike, we will design a property maintenance service that works around you. We can check in on a weekly basis for garden maintenance, complete spring and fall cleanups, add exciting annual flowers, seasonal pruning, come to you for a days' work to clean up your estate garden, etc.

Design Works is a family business, owned and operated by husband and wife, Jim and Jennifer DiNovo. Jim comes from a family of artists and agrarian gardeners, while Jennifer is a 3rd generation landscape architect and gardener. Both have been gifted a pure passion for combining the outdoors with art. Landscape design and construction is our outlet and we love sharing it with our Team and our Clients.
