Five Star Electric, Inc. is an Electrical Contractor that was incorporated in the State of Oregon in December 2003 We are located in Hillsboro, Oregon - just outside of the Portland Metropolitan area. We are an open/merit shop, therefore not affiliated with any Unions.
We are well experienced at wiring in hazardous locations, such as spray booths, powder coat booths, dip tanks, and other locations requiring explosion-proof wiring methods. We regularly work at several industrial factories that call on us for routine maintenance, service needs, and electrical upgrades. We have worked regularly at Naval shipyards, Air Force bases, and industrial factories that call on us for routine maintenance, service needs, and electrical upgrades.
Eric has been in the Electrical industry over 30 years and worked in all aspects of the job. From an electrical apprentice to a field general foreman running small to multi-million dollar commercial/industrial electrical projects, to Project Managing, Field Managing, and Estimating, he has worn every hat, often times several at once. Eric has been with Five Star Electric since the fall of 2004 and is currently the Owner/President as well as General Manager. He manages up to 25 electricians at multiple job sites; he is an Estimator and Project Manager, coordinating directly with our customers to make sure projects run smooth from start to finish.
We provide electrical services at restaurants, public and private schools, fire stations, airports, office buildings, dental clinics, medical offices, grocery stores, department and specialty stores. We maintain several long-term contracts with these types of customers so they have peace of mind that any electrical issues will be handled timely and accurately, at affordable service rates.
