Williams Plant Nursery opened its doors in 1987, when Tom Williams teamed up with Glen St. Mary Nursery to provide an outlet for landscape contractors to buy Glen St. Mary's plants in the Jacksonville area. It wasn't long before the demand for a larger variety plants led the nursery to begin buying plants from all over the state and re-wholesaling them at a competitive price.
