ARBICO Organics™ began in 1979 when Rick Frey embarked on a new endeavor in Tucson, AZ - rearing and selling insects that parasitize developing flies (Fly Eliminators™). Rick's wife, Sheri, had a passion for the environment and the two teamed up to become pioneers of organic growing, promoting their philosophy of "bio-balance" by offering customers sustainable pest control alternatives. In the early '80s, as demands for Fly Eliminators grew, ARBICO expanded to a 10 acre facility nestled in the Catalina Mountains north of Tucson.

Bed Bugs (Cimex lectularius) have become a reality for an increasing number of Americans. Bed bugs can appear in anyone's home. Bed Bugs can be brought back home after camping, traveling, in packages, etc. or they can come in from the outdoors on their own. After bed bugs arrive, they survive by feeding on any warm blooded animal. That includes your kids, your pets, and you. Bed bugs are small wingless insects that are nest parasites. Certain kinds inhabit bird nests and bat roosts awaiting the return of their warm-blooded hosts; others have adapted well to living in the homes of people.

There are several types of bees in North America: native bees, bumblebees and the imported European honeybees. Their importance to our food supply cannot be understated. Not only do we rely on bee to pollinate fruits and vegetables that we eat directly, they are also vital for the foraging crops that livestock consume. Native bee species in North America number about 4,000. They range from the minute Perdita to the large carpenter bees. They are under-recognized for the work that they do, native bees can be found anywhere a flower grows and produces pollen.

I have ordered many different products from Arbico over the past 5 years, and have had exceptional service. When I've needed to call, the staff have always been exceptionally kind and helpful. I appreciate their offering staggered deliveries of predatory insects, as it has helped us to build better native populations.

Every year I get flea nematodes from Arbico. They are an amazing way to avoid fleas on my dogs, and I recommend them to anyone wanting a non-chemical way to control fleas. Caveat - my yard is well shaded, which I think helps to a degree when it comes to watering them in each year.

I have used the fly predators for several years and also the preying mantis egg cases. I have received incredible customer service. Teri especially is very friendly and always gives me helpful tip.
