Since starting our business in 1975, we've focused on customer satisfaction by offering premium craftsmanship while treating our customers with honesty, integrity, and respect. We've been serving residents in the Triangle area since 1993. As North Carolina licensed Building Contractors we have the knowledge, equipment, and experience to provide home improvements, remodeling, and repairs for most issues related to a house or tree removal. No folks, we are NOT taking about the human "door knockers" (aka Storm Chasers) who seem to "swoop" into our area a few days after a weather event, wanting to give you a "free roof damage inspection;" or those who say they will "handle everything " to get you a "free" new.
We've been in the construction industry for over 45 years, and helping residents and businesses in the Triangle area for over 25 years. We provide services related to home improvement, remodeling, repair, and hazardous tree removals. Our more than 10,000 name client list includes customers from decades ago, and now their children are just starting out owning their first homes. Our history includes providing disaster recovery assistance from major hurricanes (Hugo, Bertha, Fran, Floyd, Florence, Matthew, etc.) and more common homeowner issues like wind damage, kitchen fires, floods from burst pipes or clogged drains, chimney collapse or foundation settling.
We perform several Home Inspection Report Assessments (HIRA) each month, and also offer a general Property Observation & Assessment Reports (POAR) and have HUNDREDS of Home Buyers (and occasionally Sellers) who have used our services in negotiations to receive TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in sales price reductions based upon the information that we provided. Other times, current homeowners contract for our services to provide them with information regarding products used in the construction of their home, the installation and level of craftsmanship employed to install these products, or the current status of home related items to budget future maintenance or repair needs.
If we can't permanently solve the problem within this time period, we will let you know right away, and estimate the time, materials, and labor costs before any work begins beyond the commitment for the $250 One Hour Roof Service. Some roofs need extra time to extend their service life; or have difficult areas to access that require additional equipment, or effort, to safely reach these areas. In this situation, we prepare a Work Order that describes the specific work proposed and lists the costs of the repairs recommended.

Honest, highest quality work. Trent is my #1 go-to guy for repairs and major renovation work. He always shoots straight. He will suggest lower cost options if that's the right thing to do. He's the best in this whole area, hands down. I'm a very satisfied customer.
We regret to report the death of Milton “DeWayne" Gandy, (age 74), Owner of Gandy Mechanical Services, Inc. He died recently at his home, following a diagnosis of lung cancer.
This week's high winds, broken trees, and damaged roofs are keeping our crews pretty busy lifting trees off houses, rebuilding rafters, and installing new shingle roofs.
For Immediate Release: Our company has recently been awarded:
When lightening strikes trees and breaks them, sometimes they fall onto houses with people inside. We're here with hugs and equipment to help "put things back together."
