Abingdon Roofing has recently obtained the certification to install Garden Roofs. Garden roofs allow for storm water mitigation, reduction of the heat island effect in metropolitan areas, and the ability to provide a serene environment for personnel. This environment can be on an outside patio or through a windowed office overlooking a well designed garden area. We have a degreed horticulturist on staff to assist in the design, installation and long term maintenance of this space. The newer types of garden roofs allow for lower weight systems to be installed on an existing structure which would normally not have enough weight bearing capability to support a more intensive design.
