A professionally installed copper metal roof can last for generations, and when it does wear out, can be recycled into another copper roof. Pitched copper roofing can be installed as standing seam panels, batten seamed panels and individual copper patterned shingles. We use special traditional metal folding techniques to allow for a standing seam roof to be installed with no caulking or soldering of the joints and penetrations.
We install and repair slate roofs with time tested methods and materials. Using the best quality slate from New England quarries, copper nails and flashings, and proper underlayments, we can install a slate roof to last for generations. After a major hailstorm damaged the existing roof, we installed a new Vermont semi weathering mixed color (greens and purples) slate roof with new copper roof ornaments and flashings. This beautiful house in a Cleveland Heights historical district had originally been roofed with a poor quality "pennsylvania gray" thin slate that had worn out.
We install custom fabricated copper gutters, built in and yankee style copper roof gutters, and european style half round copper gutters.
