Doug Ashy Building Materials, founded by Claire and Doug Ashy in 1960, began servicing the Lafayette community with four employees and a single delivery truck. Today, Doug Ashy Sr. is retired, and his sons, Doug Jr., Steve, and Ken continue to provide the building community with a full line of high quality building materials at their "One Stop Shopping Centers." Now, Doug Jr. and Steve are joined by their sons DJ, Steven, and Michael to help continue the dreams of Claire and Doug Ashy. The modest business that was founded in 1960 has grown to include four locations in Lafayette: two full service lumber yards, Louisiana Drywall & Roofing Specialties, and Louisiana Building Systems.

Made in America, with over 100 colors available. The collection has the natural movement found in Stone Counters such as Granite and Marble. Boos invented the Butcher's block over 100 years ago. Boos is still making beautiful wood tops today.
