We've now gone through the roof-replacemen t experience twice, in 11 months. Yes. You read that correctly. I filed our 2018 claim (in June), less than 12 months (to the day) of filing our 2017 claim. In 2017 we found a respectable, and easy to work with, roofing company - the owner was WONDERFUL, and the crew seemed ready to go - It took two, full days to remove the old roof, and then another 3, full days to install the new one (5 days total). We were even bunkered in our basement until 10:15pm on one evening, with our then 3 year old and 6 month old.waaaaaaay past bedtime. In the process, my rose/ lily bed was completely crushed under the old shingles and related garbage, asphalt was left sprinkled all over our driveway, roofing felt pieces littered our back yard, and there were nails everywhere. AFTER they had "cleaned" and left. A year later, we (and by we, I mean my now 20 month old) were finding nails in the yard and gravel.2018 process - file claim. Call Matt with Summit Roofing Solutions, LLC - receive estimate - email, and receive correspondence back within the hour. Schedule delivery. Roof ing team showed up at 7:30 am on the nose, on Friday - roof completed, and crew completely gone by 2:30 pm Saturday. They left ZERO trace that they had even been here. They even cleaned our back patio, which was totally unnecessary, considering it's covered. I have yet to find hide nor hair that they were even here - and trust me, I've looked; I have three dogs, and two small children. At no point were we inconvenienced by noise, or trash, or messy workers. THANK YOU to Matt, and his team for making this process so seamless and easy!
