J.J. Wurst Landscape Contractor was started in 1963 by Jerry Wurst after many years of working for his uncles at Wurst Bros Landscaping. The original location was in Kearsarge, near Erie, PA. With a '56 International Truck and 8N Tractor loader, Jerry started putting in lawns and quickly built a solid customer base. We stripped topsoil from the farm fields on 54th St. near J.S Wilson School. Notable equipment at the time was an International crawler loader, a 500C International Dozer and a 65' Chevy long bed dump truck.

Included with every tree and shrub purchase are detailed planting instructions and one-year fertilizer tablets. Our knowledgeable garden center staff can answer your questions, assist you with picking out the proper plants for your situation, and load your purchases into your vehicle for you.
