As of now we are open to the public for adoptions by appointment only everyday from 1pm-4pm. After much consideration we have decided to move the Rabies clinic from January to the spring on May 8th for the safety and welfare of all. The Toms River Animal Control and Services is a municipal shelter serving Toms River Township. We are one of only four remaining municipally-run shelters in New Jersey. If approved there is an adoption fee payable in cash or check. This fee includes the spay or neuter of the dog or cat as well as rabies and distemper vaccines and a microchip.
