The DMFD is currently conducting pre-plan surveys of every building in Des Moines. A member of the DMFD may be stopping by to document your property for our pre-plan software. This allows us to be better prepared for an incident at your property should one occur. Anyone conducting these surveys will be in uniform and will have a department issued ID, please feel free to ask them for their credentials.
