We were established in 1970, primarily as a maintenance company servicing the West Hartford area. In 1980, our nursery and irrigation department were added to complement our services. A focus was then shifted through the 1980's to replace maintenance with landscape construction in the residential and commercial market. Our customers have benefited the most from this transition. Our nursery has expanded to seven acres, offering a unique selection of hard to get topiary plant materials. Our fleet of equipment makes us the right choice for those large commercial projects as well as the smallest residential yard renovation.
Since the early 1980's, we have provided our customers with outstanding lawn sprinkler service. With proper irrigation, your lawn can be its healthiest. Your beautiful landscape is a valuable asset, lawn sprinklers help keep it that way. There are four major parts to the irrigation system: the backflow prevention device, the valves, the heads and controller. We use quality materials from major manufacturers including Toro, Hunter, and Rainbird. We irrigate residential lawns, gardens, delicate planters, small to large commercial projects, even athletic fields.
I had a stone garden in my backyard for my wife. In the stone garden is bushes and many ground cover plants which Nicole Ali helped my wife to pick out at the nursery. The work was done with precision, at a reasonable price and looks beautiful. My wife goes out there to water the plants and spends as much time admiring the stones. I can't say enough good things about Al's Landscaping and Nursery. We needed to redo the entire property thanks the the negligence of the previous owner. They easily came up with a design that not only looked great, but managed to stay within our modest budget. I am quite picky when it comes to plants, and they worked with me to get exactly the species I wanted, and none I didn't. As someone who works in plant and soil science, I can tell you that the quality of plants they brought in was perfect; very healthy and hardy species, well suited to our climate.
