Our native plant landscaping creates sustainable outdoor environments using species indigenous to the Hudson Valley region. These plants naturally resist local pests and require less water and maintenance while supporting regional biodiversity. We carefully select plant combinations that thrive in specific microclimates while meeting aesthetic goals.
Garden Design Consultation
We provide comprehensive garden design consultations that assess site conditions, soil composition, and environmental factors. Our experts create customized plans that integrate native vegetation with functional outdoor spaces. Each consultation includes detailed recommendations for plant selection and hardscape elements tailored to client needs.
Water Feature Installation
Our water feature installations include custom-designed ponds, waterfalls, and streams that blend naturally with surrounding landscapes. We use native plants and materials to create ecosystems that support local wildlife while providing aesthetic benefits. Each project incorporates proper drainage and maintenance considerations.
Stone Retaining Walls
We build durable stone retaining walls using locally sourced materials that complement natural surroundings. Our walls prevent erosion while creating functional terraced spaces. Each structure is engineered for stability while maintaining aesthetic harmony with the landscape's native character.

I don't get to shop there as much as I'd like, but it's such a treat when I do! I learn a lot, of course, and discover new things that I never knew I "needed." Most recently I found some wonderful books to help get through the winter and plan for the next growing season. Great for gifts as well!

Thank you for being a friend to the Trail, for participating in the annual Earth Day celebration at the Dover MS/HS, for supporting the Warrior Hikers, for being the home base for the Harlem Valley AT Community, and for hosting Trail Day. And that's in addition to your fine inventory of native plants, and hiking & nature-related items for sale.
