Botanicus, Inc. is a diversified, eco-friendly interior landscaping company with over 40 years experience in the live plant care industry. We are a pioneer in growing, shipping, and acclimatization techniques. We provide a wide range of plantscaping services from custom designing interior gardens and Green Walls to meeting all your holiday decorating needs throughout Western New York. In 1971, Botanicus opened its doors as the Plant Parlour on Main Street in Buffalo. The first plants-only retail store in Western New York, we sold bonsai, grafted cactus, succulents and small plants.

David & Kathryn started in 1971 in a former florist shop near the University on Main Street in Buffalo. At first, Kathy mostly did custom dressmaking, but David convinced her to stock a few exotic plants and Bonsai in the front windows. By 1973, the store became the Plant Parlour, WNY first plants-only retail store. For many years, we had a total of three retail stores! We helped make plants easy for everyone with Plant Care Sheets, free "Plant Doctors" advice, Indoor Horticulture Courses, and free workshops.

They add color, greenery, life & a bit of the tropics to any home. Yet, questions abound about the failure of indoor plants. Although we at Botanicus only take care of Commercial accounts now, we started in 1971as the Plant Parlour WNY's first plants-only retail store! We were well known for providing great plant care tips & advice! It is a place where anyone can come and learn to prune & trim their house plants, office plants, tropical plants, outdoor trees and shrubs, regardless of their level of expertise.
