Northwest Exterminating provides pest control services to Tucson and Southern Arizona. We specialize in controlling the pests that are found in Arizona's unique desert environment. We promise personalized service and state of the art techniques for all your exterminating needs. Northwest Exterminating has successfully eliminated Bed Bugs from homes and businesses since the first call came in 2005 and a positive identification was made of the now, infamous bed bug. The National Pest Management Association has worked with industry and university researches to develop Best Management Practices for Bed Bugs.

Northwest Exterminating started in 1990 as a Pre-Treat Company for new construction. It was started after a national company decided they no longer wanted to do Pre-Treatments and one of their employees, started the business with taking over the renewals of that company and agreements with builders. The company has grown over the last 30 years, due to the efforts of the original owners, Rod and Betty Elliot and the prior owner Chad Berg. Now part of the Anticimex family we look forward to serving all your pest control needs for years to come.

Northwest Exterminating meets the standards of the exclusive National Pest Management Association's (NPMA) Quality Pro program. The NPMA Quality Pro program establishes the industry's best practices in service, quality, education, environment and employee selection. We believe in practicing and implementing Integrated Pest Management techniques ensuring the most responsible, targeted and controlled use of pesticides. Our residential service frequency varies based on individual needs and expectations.

I called NW Exterminating after inspectors from three other well-known pest control companies had already given me estimates. I wasn't overly impressed with them, found one to be somewhat arrogant, the other one not very knowledgeable about bugs, and the third wasn't able to guarantee their treatment for carpet beetles, which was my issue. When Jose from NW Exterminating arrived, he immediately put on booties over his shoes. WOW! the only person who has ever done that. His inspection included lifting up our mattress and checking all corners as well as checking the box springs.

Northwest Exterminating receives more calls about termites than any other insect and when the subject comes up the question is not if you will get them, but when? Spring typically is when large numbers of winged termites, known as "swarmers, " emerge. Triggered by warmer temperatures and rainfall, the winged termites will emerge from a colony, pair off with a mate, and begin new colonies. Termites make themselves at home by random and continuous forging which is how they find and feed on cellulose material.

We have had NW for many years, some of their service techs have been better than others. I want to say our current guy is the BEST! Please keep him as.

Very prompt, professional service, and they back their warranty 100%. Highly recommended!

Shout out to Jose who did my annual inspection last week. For the last 11 years, my inspections were about 20 minutes in duration. This inspection was almost 1 1/2 hours, so very thorough with some not too great findings--no termites though! but readily easy to take care of.

Waking up to find your windshield iced over doesn't happen that often here in Arizona. We are having an internal company debate on whether this is a good excuse for being late to a meeting or not.
