What started as a good client/ business relationship ended terribly with a cowardly motive to turn the client down. A proposal was written up by Chesapeake Landscape & Design, Inc. to handle an issue with the foundation of our home retaining lots of ground water and our sump pump working like crazy. After a few weeks of mulling over the proposal, I agreed to have the work done, assuming a pH test would be completed first.
If the pH was city water, I'd take my complaint to the county If the pH was spring water, we would move forward with the repair proposed by Chesapeake Landscape. I was working with Mike Hill, who regularly contacted me via phone and email. Following my proposal to have the pH test completed, the communication stopped on Mike's end. I waited over a week before I decided to call the office. The secretary forwarded me to Mike's voicemail, where I left a message.
I waited several more days and learned Mike was avoiding my calls and emails. Per the secretary, I was turned away because it was "high season". Whether that is BS or not, Mike failed to respond to my emails or phone calls. Thank you for putting me in a situation where I trusted you to make the fix and kept me in limbo with your failure to respond to calls and emails when my basement could have flooded during this time. Your company may do good work, but your customer service needs a facelift. Good riddance.
