This is a Natural Bark Product. Straight from the saw mill comprised of 90% Hardwood Bark giving a rich Brown color. Though all mulch fades in the sun. This mulch seams to hold it's color a little longer then the double ground mulches that have a higher wood pulp content. Great for holding moisture. Our Black Mulch is comprised of hard wood chips of wood(no pallets) The dye is safe for use in your gradens. You should never apply a dyed mulch before a rain storm, the dye needs time to dry into the wood.
