Our Journey to Aquascape's Master CAC Status Although we began installing Aquascape Water Features in 1998 and we were an Aquascape Retailer (Water Gardens & More.) from 2004 to 2006, we never pursued the Certified Aquascape Contractor program until 2010. Why in the world did we wait so long? Time and excuses! Or maybe it could be better stated that we made the EXCUSE that we didn't have the TIME to put all of the documentation together and jump through the necessary hoops to become a. No, it's not Santa!

Pavers are both durable and stylish. They are several times stronger than concrete and have a longer lifetime than asphalt or gravel. In addition, you can choose from a variety of colors, textures, and sizes, so you can have a driveway that reflects your taste and your personality. When choosing a paver for a driveway, ICPI recommends an interlocking pattern instead of large slabs. The strongest interlocking pattern is herringbone, either in a 4x8 or 6x9 paver. Other options would include the "I" pattern (6x6/6x9) or some of the smaller modular (random) patterns.

There are many options available when considering a fountain. Fountains are self-contained water features with no plants or fish. The water level in fountains needs to be replenished on a regular basis if they are running 24/7 due to evaporation and splashing. This is a simple, low-maintenance, and inexpensive way to enjoy the soothing sound of water. Also available are custom-designed fountainscapes to fit your setting and your budget. Here is a custom "bubbling rock fountain" that we installed for Bester Elementary School in Hagerstown, Maryland.

There are some very simple, specific steps that must be taken to determine the cause of water loss. The possibility of a hole in the liner is way at the bottom of the list. The Good News is that there is usually a very simple solution to the problem. The Bad News is that it's finding the cause of the problem that poses the challenge. It is usually due to some settling of the soil along the edge, especially if you notice the water level dropping after a heavy rainstorm. You can immediately look at the picture on the right, and see the area where the mulch is darker and saturated with water.

We have been blessed to be chosen once again by EP Henry for their annual photo shoot of our projects for possible inclusion in their 2021 EP Henry Product Catalog. Photos of our projects have appeared in their 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2020 catalogs. This year, however, was a little different. Why? Because this year Andrew Ludewig and Matt Basara brought their drones! Last summer Glenn Hetrick (EPH Sales Rep) and Andrew Ludewig (EPH Photographer) came to visit our facility and photograph five of our hardscape projects for possible inclusion in the EP Henry 2020 sales catalog.
