GreenScapes' friendly and knowledgeable staff, both trained and skilled in their fields, will help you find the right plant material for your site and provide valuable information for maintaining your all ready existing landscaping. Along with all of our plant and landscaping materials, we also offer private and commercial landscape designs, plant installations, and maintenance of landscaping projects that our company has installed. Lawn installations with sod or hydroseed are also available. We are currently celebrating over 37 years in business and providing Central New York with the highest quality trees, shrubs, and flowers by people that care.

Beginning as a rented garage over 35 years ago, Greenscapes has grown to an over 5-acre Garden Center and Landscaping company. The passion of owner and operator, Dennis O'Neill has been to provide quality service and products, since GreenScapes was a small part-time business. This same strong work ethic has kept the Garden Center growing since its establishment in 1982. After more than three decades of expansion, GreenScapes' stock has blossomed to include northern-grown trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, ornamental grasses, fruit trees, and specialty plants.

Our plant material is hand selected for an unparalleled inventory. Our goal is to provide our customers with the strongest, healthiest, and most beautiful plant material. From a one gallon perennial to a 20 foot shade tree, we want the best for you. We have over 3 acres of trees and shrubs for you to choose from. From the spectacular display of the spring flowering cherries and crabapples, to the autumn brilliance of a burning bush, we have it all. We pride ourselves on having the widest selection of species of every season.

Winter in Central New York can be stressful on your trees and shrubs. To increase your plants survival rate there are a few simple steps that can help prevent damage. All plants need water to make it through the winter, especially newly planted ones. If the fall is dry, deeply water plants until the ground freezes. A 3″ layer of bark mulch is also recommended to help reduce moisture loss from the soil and to insulate the root system from fluctuating temperature. Keep mulch several inches away from the trunk of the plant.

At GreenScapes Garden Center we have a sincere interest in your horticulture success. We offer only the highest quality plants for sale. Our trained personnel conscientiously nurture and inspect all plant material while they are in the garden center. Upon your purchase, we pledge to give you as much information as you may want regarding the proper care of your plant. A plant is a living organism that has its own specific needs, just like humans do. Location, proper soil, water, light and fertilizing are all factors in your plants success.

Here at GreenScapes we have over three acres of hardy, northern grown trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, ornamental grasses and fruits. In addition to plant material, we also offer 4 different colored bark mulches (bulk or bagged), decorative stone, soils, soil amendments, a variety of tree and shrub fertilizers, sprays for pests and animals, fabric, and edging. GreenScapes provides a one-year limited warranty (from date of purchase) on properly planted shrubs and trees with the original receipt.
