Your Trusted Garden Center in Weaverville, NC
Reems Creek Nursery has been a cornerstone of the Weaverville community since 1979, founded by Bill and Wilma Penland. Our journey began with a modest retail plant nursery that has evolved into a thriving garden center offering trees, shrubs, annuals, and a wide variety of plants. Over the decades, we expanded our operations to Monticello Road in 1985 and established a farm production facility in 2001. Today, we celebrate over 45 years of nurturing gardens and cultivating community. Our family remains deeply involved, with Dave Penland as President and a dedicated team committed to providing exceptional plants, garden products, and expertise. In 2021, Vice President of Operations and Co-Owner David Williams brought his extensive leadership experience to modernize our operations and guide continued growth.

Our team combines generational knowledge with modern practices to serve both seasoned gardeners and newcomers. We prioritize community engagement through educational workshops, seasonal events, and partnerships with local organizations. Our garden shop features curated selections of seeds, tools, and organic gardening supplies, alongside unique gifts and garden art. We are profoundly grateful to our customers and community for their unwavering support, which remains the heart of our business.

Very, very helpful and courteous staff. One ran down to me to take over my cart with two trees as I had a Great Pyrenees in tow as well.
