Grass Roots Inc. has been in the business of top quality lawn, landscape and hardscape design since 1999. Mike Kulp, owner and president started out at JMU as a landscape technician and crew leader, and has a degree from EMU. He is exceptionally knowledgeable when it comes landscape planning and plant selection. Whether you want us to do it for you, or you'd just like some advice on how to do it yourself, Mike's the guy to talk to. Originally based in Broadway, Grass Roots has since found its home at our shop on N. 42, just inside of Harrisonburg and Parkview.

Our recently expanded garden center features everything you need to install and maintain a successful landscape or garden, including thousands of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. We also stock a wide variety of mulches, soils, landscape stone and more available in bulk or bagged quantities. We also feature one of the areas biggest and most varied collections of tropicals and other houseplants along with unique gardening-related artwork and other gifts. Hours of operation: Our garden center is open year-round, with hours varying depending on season.
