A-Cut-Above "ACA" Landscaping & Tree Service is a year round, full service landscaping company. We are based on a long line of landscaping & tree service professionals. Our family members have owned & operated nurseries along with owning landscaping and tree service businesses throughout the years. We are a 5th generation company beginning with our great, great grandfather logging with oxen. As time evolved, we've changed and grown with the industry, as well as, our scope of work. I guess you can say that we love our job so much because it's in our blood!

Moreover, we install fencing and privacy walls in a variety of styles and materials such as iron, stacked stone, wood and split-rail style.

So many communities and neighborhoods now have lawn care restrictions or strict covenants that people often feel as though they have to be a slave to their yards or risk getting notices or even fined by their communities. You can get some of your very valuable free time back by letting us take care of the lawn care maintenance for you. We offer a wide variety of maintenance services which you can choose from.

Hardscapes are defined as any permanent structure built for your landscape. Hardscapes are designed to add function, usefulness, added outdoor living space, and long lasting beauty to your property. We use both the crisp, uniform shape of stones that are cut by craftsmen for a more formal feel, and, we also use uncut stones to give a more natural feel of stone and rock that is only sculpted by nature. Patios and walkways can add continuity and flow between your house and garden. Such architectural additions to your landscape can be created from concrete, brick, wood, or from concrete pavers and stone.

Be sure to check out photo gallery for many examples of what we can do in your yard! Increte is a stamped concrete system that duplicates nature's texture with incredible realism. Increte is available in a wide array of patterns duplicating granite, slate, stone, and brick with a myriad of standard colors that defy the eye to tell the difference between an increte slate, granite, or stone application and the real thing.

Our design team can do more than just draw up a landscape design plan for plants and trees; we can create a full master plan for your entire property. Whether we are creating a design and layout for a water feature, retaining wall, or an outdoor kitchen, you can trust that we will work hard to make your dreams a reality. Our design process is simple. First, we listen closely to our clients landscape desires, needs, tastes, maintenance preferences, along with functionality. Then, we complete a landscape assessment of the property where we can determine environmental needs such as sunlight, soil health and quality, micro climate or other special needs such as areas with drainage erosion issues.

Patios can be created with many different products. We can create a patio with simply some crushed aggregate or placing flagstone pieces in crushed granite. We can work with any paver product or pattern. We can also install flagstone on top of concrete and then mortar it in. Another option is concrete. You can have basic concrete, colored concrete, stained concrete, or stamped concrete. The options are extensive!

If you live in Georgia, chances are you have drainage or erosion issues. ACA can help you identify and fix these problems with an array of different techniques & products. Perforated pipe is designed for drainage. Its advantage is the perforated or ribbed interior. Ribbed/perforation slow water down so when water exits the pipe it does not have a destructive force, causing erosion or upset neighbors. PVC has advantages as well. Water in transport runs very fast, away from the source. PVC is also very durable, so it is good for under sidewalks, patios and solid sources.
