This company completely failed to take responsibility for their work. During their service, they actually cut my internet line and showed no willingness to fix the problem. One of their technicians pretended to connect the line, but obviously, it was futile with a severed cable lying exposed on the ground. Without uttering a word, they abruptly left the job site. I was left to deal with the consequences of the lost connection and had to relocate my personal server to my in-laws' house.
When I contacted the company to explain the situation, I had to make multiple calls just to reach the appropriate person. Eventually, the CFO, Eric, called me back the next day, only to confirm that they would not be taking any action. I had hoped for an apology or some form of acknowledgement for their mistake, but none was forthcoming.
Eric's call simply revolved around checking if my internet connection was restored, and he abruptly ended the conversation after that. It is disheartening to imagine the outcome if I had encountered a more significant problem with this company. They didn't even accept responsibility for a basic error like cutting an internet line. I strongly recommend choosing a different company that will take accountability for their work and own up to their mistakes.

We have used them on a couple of projects recently and have been very pleased. Daphney their designer is great to work with and very knowledgable. The crews who came out did a wonderful job. Dan was our project manager and then there was McGinn, James, and Wilson. James was on the job everyday and was an absolute delight, hardworking and super nice as were the rest of the team. Would definitely use this company again!

Our new landscaping is now finished. We have already received a few compliments. Daphney was very helpful in the planning process. No high pressure which we appreciated. Then came the crew headed by Scott. All 4 of the workers were very accommodating. When we asked for a couple of changes on the positions of the plantings, they rearranged them without looking frustrated and made sure we were happy. The next day Daphney stopped by to make sure we were happy and to give us final instructions on the care of the plants. We would definitely recommend this company.

Serene Surroundings did a wonderful job for us from start to finish. Daphney designed beautiful new flowerbeds for us, giving us 4 seasons of interest. She also designed 2 tree surrounds, with plantings, that are beautiful. We were excited to review her suggested design with her. It was so nice to be able to see the placement of each perennial and shrub, ground cover etc. It gave us a real perspective of what to expect, and allowed us to ask questions and make changes if we needed to. She is very knowledgeable! She knows her plants and was able to tell us her reason for choosing certain plants, how they played a part in the whole landscape, and what to expect from them in the future years. It gave us a lot of confidence going forward.
The workers, from the Project Managers: Jeff and Dan, the delivery guys: Cody and Shawn, and the crew handling the installation: Andrew, Dan and Joe…what a nice group of workers! They were professional, put in a full day’s work, efficient, considerate, friendly, and good natured and helpful. Besides the excellent job they did installing our landscape. One particular thing that impressed me was how they removed some plantings/shrubs that were marked for removal. They removed them very carefully so they could be transplanted somewhere else if I wanted, before they removed them from my property. My neighbors were thrilled to get some new plantings for their yards!
As you can tell, I am very impressed with this company. If you are looking for a great company to handle you landscaping needs….you really need to call Serene Surroundings!!

Couldn’t be happier with the design and work Serene did for us. We spoke to three landscape companies at a home show. Daphney, from Serene, was the only one to provide cad design, with video and color pictures, of what the final product would be. She also provided the design and iterated it three times, based on our discussions, before the other companies even got us pencil drawings. The workers were efficient, thoughtful, and careful as they did their work. They frequently asked us if things looked OK and for clarification on any items they were uncertain about. Lastly they completed on time. They worked on a Saturday in 90 degrees to be sure we were done before 4th of July. Followup after completion has also been excellent. We had one small issue with one sprinkler zone and they have been very responsive to make it right. Several of our neighbors have already sought out Serene for work based on the work they did for us. Use them you won’t be sorry.
