Rocky Mountain Landscape Management, Inc. grew out of summers spent landscaping in the Vail Valley of Colorado. Our focus on quality and service to our clientele has remained with us since the early days. Over the years, we've developed from a lawn maintenance firm into a full-service landscape management company dedicated to meeting all of your landscape needs. Due to the moist, cool spring and early summer, we are noticing more yellow nutsedge than in recent years. Yellow nutsedge, shown above, is a grass-like plant but is brighter green and has a different growth habit from normal grasses. It grows quickly in the hottest summer months when your normal turf growth slows the most. Yellow nutsedge can be tough to treat, but it can be controlled by a select herbicide. The treatment of yellow nutsedge is not included in our standard turf treatment programs, but if you feel that you have a problem, give us a call and we can make a treatment plan tailored to your personal turf needs.
