Kalamazoo Landscape Supplies (KLS) was started in 1971 by Jake Glas and his wife, Theresa, operating out of the family residence on Kalamazoo's west side. The simple product list included delivery of soil and sod. In 1977 a new facility was constructed on South 9th Street in Oshtemo Township, Michigan. The new facility allowed a product line expansion to include more hard goods such as grass seed, fertilizer, hydro-mulch and edging. The additional land provided space to build bins for a larger selection of bulk stone and mulches.

They have a lifetime limited warranty for ground contact. They're a high quality lumber with a traditional rough finish, which are great when used for retaining walls, driveway borders and other landscape construction applications. When shopping for timbers be sure to find out what kind of wood they are made from. SPF which stands for spruce / pine/ fir wood are less expensive to produce and are much more likely to degrade by warping, drying, and cracking. We use only red pine timbers which are much better quality than SPF timbers.

We offer the best selection in the area of professional grade underground irrigation parts from several manufacturers such as Rain Bird, Signature, Hunter, Irritrol, and others. While we don't offer complete lines from any manufacturer, we do offer a good selection of heads, valves, controllers, etc. that have proven field performance. We also offer above ground supplies such as hoses, nozzles and sprinklers that are a good value.
