Greg Kunst & Sons Excavating is a family owned and operated company. Greg started in the construction trade in 1968 at the age of 19 in the engineer battalion for the United States army. Greg continued working in construction after his return and became a small business owner in 1975 building homes in the Duluth area. In 1977 he bought a backhoe to dig foundations for the homes he built and that's where it all began. Greg now focuses on the excavating aspect of the construction trade, working along side his sons Erick, Danny, Ben and a crew of experienced employees, as his wife, Jeanne works in the office.
