The Arbor Gate is such an incredible place to be. It's beauty is incredible! The planted gardens give such great ideas as to what works together in various sun exposures. Beverly and her staff are incredible! It's the only nursery that I ever recommend to my clients, friends and family.
One of my places I consider heaven on earth. The herbs with all the Madeline Hill varieties are why I started coming years ago but it is the amazing garden displays and art and quality perrennials that keep me coming back. I worked as a nursery professional for 9 yrs and always held this place as an example of excellence in every way from service to selection and am happy to say it's still that way almost 15 yrs later. We discovered The Arbor Gate thanks to Randy Lemmon (GardenLine). He mentioned the classes offered there, and we signed up for some. We learned SO much! The grounds are gorgeous, even in winter, and the supply is ample. The staff are very knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions or find answers. We bought a gorgeous plant for our daughter-in-law after one class, and planned a container garden after another. :) We will be back many times, even though we have to drive from Katy. there's nothing similar in our area, so it's worth the drive.
