Services
Design Consultation
Our expert designers create customized outdoor spaces that harmonize with the Sonoran Desert environment. We begin with on-site assessments to understand client needs and develop plans that balance aesthetics with water efficiency. Our process includes HOA submittals and ongoing adjustments to ensure client satisfaction.
Landscape Installation
We implement complete landscape transformations from concept to completion. Services include native rock walls, dry washes, paver installations, and custom hardscapes like barbecues and spa enclosures. Our team ensures proper irrigation system integration and uses desert-adapted plant materials for long-term sustainability.
Maintenance Services
Our maintenance programs preserve landscape beauty while minimizing water usage. We offer scheduled care with chemical weed control options and a six-month guarantee. Services include pruning, irrigation checks, and seasonal adjustments to maintain optimal plant health in desert conditions.
Nursery Sales
Smiling Dog Nursery specializes in desert-adapted cacti, succulents, and native plants. We offer guided tours and propagation services to help clients select appropriate vegetation for their specific microclimates. Our inventory supports both residential and commercial landscaping projects.
Rainwater Harvesting
We design and install systems that capture and utilize rainwater for landscape irrigation. Our solutions include catchment basins, permeable paving, and grading techniques that direct water flow. These systems reduce municipal water usage while promoting healthy plant growth in arid environments.
