Doug Wasson has overseen operations of this award winning company since 1976. Most of Plowboy's projects are in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. However, we construct landscapes from San Luis Obispo to Los Angeles Counties. Although we specialize in large commercial projects and estate work, we landscape many smaller projects as well. We take great pride in our work and use only irrigation and plant material of the highest quality. We understand the importance of working within a given budget and time schedule.
Plowboy Landscapes, Inc. provides a full time on site gardener (40 hours per week) for $5400 per month. We include no regular additional costs. This is all inclusive. You have paid for gardening, materials, sprinkler repair, fertilizer, sprays, etc. in the monthly fee. For larger jobs, 1 1/2 gardeners (60 hours per week) cost $8100 per month, and 2 gardeners (80 hours per week) cost $10,800 per month. We make no money on extra work because we don't charge for it. In 2016, Plowboy Landscapes, Inc. is celebrating 40 years of creating and maintaining gardens.
We have a construction superintendent and construction foremen who have worked for us for 25 years. We are looking to expand, and welcome work from any sector of the industry. So, that means Plowboy builds landscapes for commercial projects, industrial projects, estate work, residential projects, revegetation projects, government and public works jobs, hotels, retirement homes, shopping centers and specialty jobs. We also provide budget bids for landscape architects and contractors. After all this time, we have a pretty good idea of how to do the work and how to be competitive.
