Desert Theater

Desert Theater has been a leader in cactus, succulent, and euphorbia cultivation for over 25 years. Founded by Jay Jackson and now led by Brandon Bullard, our team combines decades of horticultural expertise with innovative landscaping solutions. We specialize in drought-tolerant plant selection, transportation, and installation, serving residential and commercial clients across California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas. Our 15-acre nursery offers specimens ranging from 4" pots to 30" box plants, including agaves, barrel cactus, aloes, and rare euphorbia varieties. Recognized in Sunset Magazine and the Union Tribune, we've earned awards at the San Diego Home and Garden Show for our dramatic designs and exceptional plant materials. Our commitment to environmental stewardship drives our focus on water conservation, fire-retardant landscaping, and sustainable horticultural practices.

With over 92 combined years of experience in cactus care and transportation, we provide tailored solutions for creating exotic, low-maintenance landscapes. Our Escondido location serves as both a nursery and design hub, offering expert consultation for transforming properties with resilient, climate-adapted plantings. We maintain partnerships with local publications and industry events to share our expertise while continuously refining our cultivation techniques. Our team's deep understanding of desert ecosystems ensures clients receive both aesthetic beauty and functional, water-efficient landscapes.
