SMG Landscapes is a grounds maintenance and landscaping company. Our main focus is landscape maintenance (year round or seasonal) for condo and home owners associations and one-time landscape projects for individual home owners. Our success has been built on the simple philosophy of doing what we say we are going to do. We strive to be a company that is known for its integrity and high quality of service. First of all thank you for finding our website and taking a look around. My name is Shane Goetsch, I am the owner of SMG Landscapes. I grew up on the farm in Nebraska where we raised hogs and grew corn. I attended college at the University of Nebraska, Omaha and earned a degree in Aviation Management/Business Administration and a commercial pilot license. While going to college I worked for a company that installed lawn sprinkler systems. We would do anything from a residential lawn, to 9-hole golf courses.

There are several options for lighting when considering security, deterring break-ins, theft, etc. Some lights can just flood the area, or you can use motion detectors. Ask us about security lighting options, or request a quote. Our professionals can design your lighting system so the lights are in the correct place to provide the best illumination of your lawn and property. We check the lights make sure all the lights are operating properly, clean the lenses and replace bulbs as necessary. We offer cutting edge LED solutions for low power consumption and long life.

We will clean up the edges wherever you have a concrete curb for a clean and uniform look. In the spring we pick up trash, tree limbs and other debris. We thatch the lawn to improve soil aeration and allow the lawns to green up as quick as possible. In the fall we pick up all the the leaves and debris and give the lawn a final cut to help the lawn recover better in the spring. For weed control we have fully certified applicators on staff. We apply pre-emergence and post emergence herbicides to keep the weeds out and your lawn looking great.
