Our design/build approach to residential landscaping is a synthesis of thoughtfully prepared design documents with high quality construction practices. As active owners, we apply our nearly fifty years of combined experience to landscape architectural challenges and the daily oversight of our installation crews.
Sander Groves' design/build process begins with good listening. Whether you desire a low maintenance garden with year round color, an outdoor kitchen or fire pit for family gathering, or a grand poolside terrace, our Landscape Designers take careful note of your program. We know responsible design begins from "the ground up", so we carefully study each project's existing site conditions and feasibility issues such as permitting and building codes impacting design and construction. Working closely with our clients, our Landscape Plans are detailed and thoughtfully prepared.
Sander Groves' proven design/build approach ensures a seamless transition from design concept to project reality. Our designers are involved throughout the construction process, insuring your Landscape Construction project has a cohesive vision from beginning to end. Our installations typically involve both "hardscape" features-such as patios, decks & arbors, stone masonry, retaining walls, irrigation & lighting systems -and "softscape" elements like planting and perennial borders, lawn installations, and drainage solutions.
As a logical segue from Landscape Construction, Sander Groves' follow-up Maintenance program keeps our installations in a vigorous, well-groomed condition as they evolve to maturity. While we maintain many of the projects we install, we also provide this service for select properties in our service area. Our Maintenance program provides consistent, horticulturally sound, and environmentally sensitive practices specific to your landscape. This service is seasonally tailored to reflect ever-changing garden and irrigation needs and to achieve optimal plant health and subsequent beauty.

I've engaged with five different professional landscaping companies before, and none have come close to the level of satisfaction I've experienced with these folks! Contrary to another reviewer's experience, I found their customer service to be just as exceptional as their design expertise. After discovering their website and viewing a couple of their previous projects, including one for a neighbor and another for the Bellevue Club, I decided to collaborate with Dan, who is absolutely phenomenal. The end result? I adore my front yard more than I ever imagined possible. It's now transformed into the serene oasis I've yearned for over the years, and I can't seem to take my eyes off it. :) Huge thanks to Dan and the incredible team at Sander Groves. They were consistently punctual, hardworking, and left my property tidier than any other service I've ever enlisted in the past.
