Our company is a reflection of our family name and pride. We have a fast-paced position open immediately with independent work (after thorough training) expected in several areas of the pre and post cleaning of area rugs and furniture at our facility and assisting with Pick-Ups & Deliveries from start to completion. Tile and grout cleaning is a service that can really be a lifesaver for customers. Because ceramic tile takes so much time and care to clean properly, it can quickly become the hard surface in a home that may get the least care. You may think mopping your tile surfaces is doing as good a job as vacuuming a carpet or sweeping a floor. But, simply mopping to clean your tile surfaces may be doing more harm than good. Your mop's dirty water can push around contaminants that can stain the grout between your tiles.

Area rug cleaning done in our cleaning plant at ABC uses special rug rinsing and wringing equipment that is specifically designed for area rugs. After you bring your machine-made nylon, polyester, olefin, wool, acrylic, and synthetic blended rugs to our plant, our staff will treat your rugs as if they were fine hand-made rugs. All area rugs are subject to our pre-cleaning inspection which is explained to the customer. Our normal 'turn-around' time for our area rug cleaning is approximately 3 to 5 business days.

Specialty rugs are also a large part of our oriental rug washing service. Both rugs with piles and those without will have varying names based on the region or country in which they were constructed. Many of the design concepts from these rugs have been borrowed from all cultures and bear symbolic meaning. These rugs are true works of art and many precautionary measures must be taken when we apply our oriental rug washing process to cleaning them. Our technicians are thoroughly trained in the art of oriental rug washing.

Commercial cleaning of upholstered furniture in businesses and fraternities and sororities will continue as usual. We will continue to clean residential upholstery in our cleaning plant by appointment only (because of space restraints). A pick up and delivery service will no longer be provided for upholstered furniture in the home. Please arrange to deliver your furniture to our plant and pick up your cleaned items when done. ABC's cleaning plant services are performed in Central New York's only Certified Cleaning Plant with a Certified Rug Specialist (CRS) on staff. We are competent and knowledgeable in Oriental rug identification, fiber, and construction elements, the type of dye systems used, and the cleaning methods required in order to achieve optimum results without damaging your valuables. Through the years, ABC's cleaning plant services have included the cleaning of thousands of rugs, upholstered furniture, luggage pieces, and mattresses.

At ABC Oriental Rug & Carpet Cleaning Co., we proudly present the services we offer to our customers. When calling to schedule a pickup, please let us know any concerns you may have such as pet odors (urine, vomit, dander), insects (moths, carpet beetles), etc. If, at the time of the pickup, it is determined the condition of a rug is questionable and any work done may exceed its value, a $200 deposit will be required before pick up. If the customer declines the work after the rug has been brought to our office, a portion of the deposit will be applied as labor and a disposal charge and the rest will be returned to the customer.

After all, we are removing allergens and dirt, grime, soil, and toxic substances, etc. from our customers' home and business environments and safely disposing of the waste material in the proper location. As part of our commitment to our anti-allergen green cleaning policy, ABC uses cleaning agents based on natural elements rather than harmful chemicals for the majority of its cleaning methods.
