Clemson Cleaners was formed as One Hour Martinizing in 1969. After several changes in ownership Wayman Henry purchased Clemson Cleaners in 1996. Mr. Henry owned dry cleaners in Greenville, SC before leaving the business world to become an Episcopal priest. Upon retiring from the Church, Mr. Henry decided to return the business world in order to minister to his employees and customers instead of his congregation. Mr. Henry's son Wright Henry joined the business in 2002 after receiving a BS in Biology from the College of Charleston and an MBA from Clemson University.
What's so special about the fabrics used in fine clothing such as rayon, silk, and wool blends? Well, these materials may shrink, change color or lose their shape if washed in water. All of these fabrics are very delicate and need to be cared for in the best manner. Have you ever just thought of trying to wash a "Dry Clean Only" item by yourself and hoping for the best results? We suggest you don't take that chance or you may ruin your favorite piece of clothing. The combination of the latest generation Union dry cleaning machine and the highest quality dry cleaning solvents and soaps makes our dry cleaning process excel in removing stains and leaving your clothes as much like new as possible.
They did a great job! I thought that my orange blazer had been ruined after Clemson won the National Championship when I had 3 bottles of champagne poured and sprayed on me, but they were able to get out every bit of that champagne! They also replaced a button that had been lost during the celebration and the price was very reasonable! Definitely would recommend! Go Tigers!
Stopped by just now. No sign about being closed today. No one at shop. Sign says open until noon. They sent a message about meeting me in Sunday if needed. I was not able to meet on Sunday, but they were very helpful on Monday morning, and opened in time.
I'm disappointed! Dropped off my husbands shirts and a dress on Monday and went in the side door. Didn't see any sign saying they would be closed on Thursday at 5pm through Sunday for the 4th. It's Saturday and today we leave for Europe for a month and my husband has no shirts. Any way to gey hold of the owner or manager?
We love our customers! Thanks Dan Crosby and Metrocon, Inc. !
