I believe a landscape should be beautiful while being low maintenance. It's hard to enjoy beauty when you have to spend every weekend trimming and spraying. This is why I focus my designs on a concept called Xeriscape. This simply means I use native and adapted plants that have minimal problems with insects and diseases so you aren't wasting time and money spraying. I choose plants that will grow to the size that fits the place where they are planted so you don't need to trim shrubs every weekend.
I have been planting trees and shrubs in the Central Texas area for nearly 45 years. In that time I have learned what plants will thrive and which ones will struggle in our clay soil and extreme weather. Combine that 40 years of experience with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Horticulture and you get a professionally designed landscape. Add to this my incredible crew, who have been making me look good for over 20 years and you get that beautiful landscape design installed quickly and professionally.
I specialize in residential landscaping. I always suggest starting with a Master Plan to include all proposed landscaping and hardscaping. This way we ensure that every step of your project fits together. This plan can be completed quickly by my crew in one session, or in steps as your budget allows. I start every project by spending time talking with you about what you would like. The next step is then creating a photo of your landscape. I do this by taking photos of your landscape as it is now, then digitally landscaping those photos.
Green Valley Landscaping is a great company to work with. Keith listened very well to what we asked for, came up with a beautiful plan, and followed.
Merry Christmas to my plant loving friends. Hope this Poinsettia care info is useful. Are they poisonous??? Read and find out.....KT
H&S project. The 2,000 sq.ft. of Asian Jasmine had to go and they wanted a very low maintenance design with railroad ties and gravel.
K and C project: These nice folks like the southern California look for some reason, so this made them very happy.
C & JM project..WE installed a stone border to the foundation beds and around the trees. I think it improved the curb appeal....but I am biased.
These are called Rain Lilies. They only bloom after a rain. Irrigation will not trigger them. Texas Sage blooms the same way.
