Standard air cleaners have filters that are very dense, so they stop the dust by trapping it in a slightly porous filter. The fewer the pores the more dust it can trap. However, this not only stops the dust and dirt, but it also stops the air from moving as well. So you may not be as comfortable, and less air is cleaned efficiently. This is called pressure drop. The revolutionary Trane CleanEffects air filtration system has the lowest pressure drop with the highest efficiency possible. At that size, allergens can get deep into your lungs because they aren't filtered well by your nose and throat.

Overlooked air duct maintenance can cause problems with mold and other airborne elements that can lead to allergies. Particles like pollen, dust, bacteria, tobacco smoke, cooking smoke, and animal hair and dander keep your air from being as clean and healthy as possible. The indoor air quality experts at MainStream Heating and Cooling have the breathe-easy solution: A whole house air duct cleaning that includes unlimited vents per air handler.

We offer numerous Trane Mini Split systems in the cooling and heat pump options ranging from 16 SEER 8.2 HSPF up to 27 SEER 10.0 HSPF.

Mainstream Heating & Cooling delivers a full range of air conditioning services to our customers, combining expertise with integrity and a personal touch. For high-quality air conditioning services available 24/7, call Mainstream today at 931-647-9610.

In every home we try to minimize bringing dirt into your home and damaging your floors. We lay a thin layer of Red plastic down during any equipment installation and all employees wear red booties over their work shoes. This extra effort keeps the dirt and grime we collect on our shoes and equipment outside. Yes, we wear surgical shoes - Red Booties over our work shoes. Combined with our "Red Carpet Service", we try our best to eliminate the possibilities of bringing dirt into or damaging your personal space!

Mainstream Heating and Cooling are Great. My heat went out at 10 PM on Friday night, so I looked on line for local companies. Checked, and Mainstream had good ratings, and was listed as having 24/7 Emergency Repair available. Called, and got there stand-by Tech Wesley. Within 45 mins he was at the house. After some trouble shooting, he went to his service truck, got the needed part, and voila, we have heat. He was knowledgeable and courteous. The repair bill was very reasonable. Thumbs Up for Mainstream.

We have used Mainstream for our Spring and Fall maintenance for the past several years and have been completely satisfied. They show up when scheduled and notify us when they will be running a little late. I would recommend Mainstream to anyone.

What's new?

Friendly reminder to change your filters! Some homes need monthly filter changes. A lot depends on the filter itself, pets, dust, etc. Not sure which filter is best for you? Ask us at your upcoming spring tune-up.
