Steam Sweepers LLC was established in 1996 by Art Thomas. Over the last 22 years Oriental Rugs have been our passion. Additionally, we offer carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, as well as grout and tile cleaning services. Steam Sweepers LLC invested the capital needed to open the most advanced Oriental and Specialty Area Rug Cleaning Facility north of Seattle. Our area rug cleaning plant houses the latest technology for restoring oriental and specialty rugs. The new location also provides space for the field service vans used by our carpet cleaning technicians.

The Steam Sweepers carpet cleaning service team will respect your home and belongings. During walkthroughs, our technicians will take note of fragile furnishings and dcor in order to determine the best way to approach each room, including if furniture needs to be moved and then blocked and tabbed. To protect your belongings, we place wall protecting corner guards between our hoses and your wall corners and furnishings. We take steps to protect your wood floors. Our IICRC certified carpet cleaners wear vinyl booties to minimize tracking and to protect areas that have already been cleaned.

We can guarantee odor removal if you own a woven area rug. The above photo on the left is a woven rug. Woven rugs can be hand knotted or machine made. It could be a Persian wool hand knotted rug crafted in Iran or a cheap knockoff, machine made with polypropylene in China. In the United States we manufacture some very nice durable wool machined rugs, made by Karastan. If you examine the above photos you'll notice the rugs pattern is visible on the backside of a woven rug whereas on a tufted rug the pattern is NOT visible at all.

Our area rug pick-up, cleaning, and delivery service will save you time, headache and money. We will inspect your rug for any obvious concerns such as moth damage, wear and tear, or colorfast issues. Also we will measure your rug and give you an exact cost for the rug cleaning or washing method we will use.
