While composite decking materials are typically sold as being maintenance free, it's far from true. In fact, your composite deck can be damaged just as easily as wood. Therefore, it's important to hire a company that is familiar with the correct low pressure washing techniques for cleaning composite decks. As a result, pressure washing composite decking needs to be done carefully and correctly. Many homeowners find composite decks to be as problematic and difficult to maintain as wooden decks. In fact, there are types of fungus that penetrate into composite boards making it challenging to impossible to remove.

Low pressure house washing is important for the health of your home! In fact, the manufacturers of vinyl siding suggest having your house washed every two years to avoid the build up of oxidation, mildew and algae. Particularly wet years cause the regrowth of mildew and algae at a faster rate. It's noteworthy that we use a low pressure process referred to as soft-washing. Unfortunately, not all methods of house washing are equal. Consequently, we use only safe and gentle methods. Additionally, we've been soft washing houses in Maryland and Virginia since 1999.

Would you like to be able to have your windows washed and cleaned at the same time your house is washed? Would you like to pay less than you currently pay per window for a window squeegee service? We are pleased to offer exterior window washing and window cleaning with our state of the art RO and DI Water-fed Pole Window Cleaning System designed to let us clean your windows during your house washing visit. What does this mean? How is it better? How does it work? Let's take a look at these questions.

Your deck needs protection and that means washing and sealing on a regular basis. Notably, trouble begins the day you finish building a deck. In fact, the treatment given to about 80% of the pressure treated wood used to build decks, is to help prevent against rot and termites. In fact, pressure treating wood offers no protection from weathering, making the wood more porous and susceptible to moisture damage. As a consequence, regular washing and sealing is important for the life of your deck. Moreover, cleaning removes mildew and algae growth, and a wood sealer moisturizes the wood helping it to retain it's natural oils.

Additionally, keeping your deck in good repair helps to maintain the value of not only the deck, but your home as well. As they become necessary, we're able to provide deck repairs and replacement services for decks, screened porches, gazebos and fences as well as rot repair and half log replacement on log homes. However it's important to note that new lumber and older wood will not match after installation.
