In 1943, Mike and Margaret Paluck opened a "dry" store on Pioneer Boulevard in Sandy, Oregon. They took customer's clothing to Gresham for cleaning and then back to their Sandy store for pickup. As the business grew and the community came to rely on the Paluck's service and attention to detail, they moved to a larger space on Shelly Avenue. Over the next decade the business continued to grow and was moved again, this time to its present location on Proctor Boulevard. Dry cleaning equipment was added and a portion of the building was converted to a coin-operated laundromat.
